We researched over 15 various glues to hold down the cradle to the book cover and in the end used the best polyurethane glue money could buy. It requires the use of a special high end gun to heat the glue to just the right temperature to ensure a lasting bond to endure a lifetime. In fact it would take over 1450psi to break loose it's shark jaw like grip. Or to put it another way we could hang over seven men weighing each 225lbs from a platform before the glue would finally let loose.
